I woke up the next morning thinking about everything that had happened last night. I didn’t mean to say what I said, but it's obvious that Ny’s not handling her business. I knew someone that would be willing to handle it for her. Once we got out the shower, I figured that it would be best if I went home. I wanted Trey to tell me no because it was late, but he practically pushed me out the door. I knew that I had to find a way to get Trey back on my good side because I was starting to fall for him.Yes, I had only known him for 3 months, but it was love at first sight.

The first time I saw Trey was when he had brought his wife to the hospital. The sadness on his face spoke volumes. Once I found out that she died, I knew that I could be the woman to fill her shoes and be the mother that Arielle needed. There was only one thing in my way, Diamond wasn’t dead. I convinced my brother to keep her at his house until she was completely better. Now that she had recovered, she was asking way too many questions that I didn’t give my brother the answers to. I just needed him to keep her there until I could make Trey fall in love with me and show him that I was who he is supposed to be with, not her.

I heard my phone ringing. From the ringtone, I could tell that it was my brother calling me once again.

“Hello” I said into the phone

“Kay, you need to get your ass over here now and tell me what’s really going on”

“What you mean?”

“Kay don’t play dumb. You told me that it would be best to keep Diamond here until she completely recovered. Well guess what she is fully recovered, and I can’t keep her here much longer” he said sounding frustrated

“I’ll be over there to explain everything I promise.” I told him and hung up

I had no intensions of going over there and explaining anything. When I did go over there, both Diamond and Clyde were going to die. Clyde was my brother and I loved him, but I couldn’t afford him possibly turning me in. Trey was my dream guy, and I was gonna have him if it’s the last thing that I do.
